All of our sheepskin pelts are individually graded by hand to ensure that only the finest quality pelts are sold as rugs. For pelts that meet our required quality levels they are graded either 8 star, 6 star, 4 star, or blue star. Our 8,6, and 4 star grades boast our premium seal of quality with the differences between these grades being only size. Blue star rugs are the lowest grade and these skins may have a slightly non uniform shape or may possess minor mends. All of our sheepskin rugs are from New Zealand raised sheep and they have all been tanned to perfection locally in New Zealand.
